dont know if this was solved but mine says:

Error Number: 1064

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

UPDATE users SET name = 'Let' WHERE id =

What page were you trying to access when you ran into that error?

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
So you got that message trying to view your garage as well as other peoples' garages? I just checked in some code that hopefully fixes the problem. Wanna try to see if you can get that error to show up again?

Sounds good man. smile.gif

Thank you all so much for helping me out with this! biggrin.gif This data is soooooo valuable...I'm getting all the bugs worked out, and then I can start adding more features and start promoting it and trying to get it to spread. smile.gif

okay i ran into another thing.

it says that you guys have been notified.....

but the app. seems not to save the details i type in.

it keeps going back to "add your ride now"

What's the exact error message that you're getting? This is when you go to add a ride, fill in details, and then click the "ADD THIS RIDE" button to save the ride?

After I put in the info on my car(after the form I fill out about year, make, model, etc..) and hit "Add This Ride", a separate pop-up error message box pops up and says "The add ride server returned invalid code" and then it does nothing. I haven't tried it with mozilla yet but this is with i-net explorer.

I'm guessing you have a name with non-English characters in it? I've got a solution...will implement in a few minutes and see if it helps. smile.gif

Edit: Give it a shot now. I'm trying some different encoding that should support all the non-standard characters you can possibly come up with. smile.gif

Is anyone else having any problems still? The logs are looking good, but I wanted to double-check with everyone.

Also,
Now that it seems to be working for the most part, what sort of features would you guys like to see added to the app?

New Toyota project coming soon...
Some kind of security banner for pics similar to what we have on our profile
pics here would be cool.

nice work, didnt even know about myspace apps til now haha

keep it up
Ok so Coomer no offense but I found a BIIIIIG problem. The "Make" and "Model" say honda and dodge then civic and viper..... wheres the toyota love???? Nice app though... I think we the 6gc community think you should throw the celica love in as the example... Just a thought. wink.gif

That's a good idea. I wonder what most people would think about this.

I opted to cater to both import and domestic people, and chose Honda and Civic because that's a very common car. wink.gif

By the way, I restructured the way the vGarage app is displayed on profiles, so it now takes up much less space. smile.gif

aw man, I liked having a big garage door on my profile lol. It's cool though, just the fact that our "garage" is displayed not only on vgarage, but also in the profile is a really nice touch!

Most people probably wouldn't care because the photos in the profiles don't have anything, but if
anyone reposted the car pics, at least you would get some free advertising. smile.gif
