i took my injectors out and im running on the fmu till i get stronger piston and rings. dont want to boost to much on a car with 157k on it.
ohh i see, question tho, did you take out one of your fans in order to fit the turbo? And is everything still cool or did you run into any problems with the turbo?
yea i took both fans out, you have to go to an auto part and buy one of these http://www.awrracing.com/images/m3_fan_1lg.jpg.
and yea everything still cool. no problems yet lets hope it stays like that.

what? You paid $800 for fans? Why not just take out the ac one, your ac will still work it just wont be as cold or jsut get one high power fan in the middle, alot cheaper.

>
NO! short answer ..... those are 2 different things wide wide reads air to fuel ratio a volt read how much power your charging system is getting/doing

what happens if i have the fmu ion my fuel feed line instead of return line? would it lean out my motor...just curious?
>
you really need to have your fmu hooked up right or you'll burn out your motor

I just found a site that sells the AFR gauge for $60, can I just connect it with a wideband o2 sensor for another $30-40 and use it. Or is it not that simple?

Plus pabel where did you buy those fans? Do they give enough clearance for the turbo setup? thanks

yes. the fuel feed line is on the other side of the motor. it's a big hose with a banjo fitting on the end.

NO. What you linked to is a useless narrowband.
You need a WIDEBAND like the AEM, Innovative, etc...
They normally sell for around 2-300$ and come with their own o2 sensor.

15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
i got it at auto zone...you can get it at advance auto parts, pepboys, or napa.
This gauge can be set to read narrow band or wideband (0-5v) with the flick of a switch in the back of the gauge.

anyone know what oil cooler will fit the 7afte..do we buy dependin the turbo?
>
coolers are universal for the most part. You can buy any one that you want. I would not go any bigger than a 15 or 20 row cooler though.
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...9034+4294888847
that would be fine for street use on your power level.
edited: realized I said 10 row for some reason.
