Topic #56257 10 posts Started by elastikman
Hello!

First of all i glad to find this amazing forum. smile.gif

Well i got a Celica 1.8 ST 1995 7AFE,
and i got 4AGE motor from a friend.

I read is possible to change the head of 7AFE to a 4AGE head!

But i have some doubts...

1. What gains can be expect?

2. the change is straigth ?? No need to change anything ?
Is just bolt the 4AGE head on 7AFE block ? ....If not what i need to put from the 4AGE motor in 7AFE ?

3. Do i need the 4AGE ecu to run this ?

Thanks so much smile.gif

search up 7age on google and you'll learn ALOT.

2000 Celica GTS 'slowest gts evar'1998 Mazda 626 FS-DE/CD4-E
4a ecu and more, the engine sticky has some good info on this.

JDM guy made me do it.
You can even contact Nik on this forum about the 7age.

Red Top and Blue top are not real good definitions I own 2 red tops an 88 large port TVIS
and a 91 small port. The 91 prizm should be a small port as well.

JDM guy made me do it.
1. at least 30-40hp gains
2. nope. longer throttle cable and wirings a bitch.
3. u should if u want to take advantage of vvt and the better MAP.

assuming ur using a 20v bt
