Right, im pretty much sold on the KYB's after reading through various threads etc, I'm going to couple these up with some fensport lowering springs!

But my simple question is...Do I need to replace the top mounts? I read somewhere that you do! But unsure if this is a recommendation (A sort of, while your at it type job) or an actual essential element to the install!

They're not required [unless your new housings take a different type], but it won't hurt, especially if you have the originals still on there.

Only if the top mounts are smoothed out, but if they are still shaped, its still good.
