to those who have had their trim painted, or painted it themselves:

1. what type of paint did u use? acrylic/flat/gloss??

2. does clear coat really look that good?

3. where can i get some of that interior paint? or can i just use regular old spray paint?

please let me know, i've got a red 98' GT, and i want me a red trim around my radio, and shifter....and maybe on vents...please help >confused.gif>
I did mine my self i used regular gloss spray paint but i also use about 5 coast of clear coat and yea it looks great.

i used automotive car paint so it would be a exact match to the outside of the car
I did mine with normal white paint and then I did about 5-6 coats clear and it looks sweet. You can use high gloss paint if you wanna, but the clear coat helps it from mild scratches and nicks.
i used testors model enamel spray...worked real well...i used a clear-coat also..i think it looks better IMO with it, and adds a little protection for the color. >biggrin.gif>

any of u use red??

my car is red, and i want to try to match it as close as possible...and where did u buy your paint and clear coat?
They also have "vinyl" paint, which I used.
i used Dupli-Color Wheel Paint. the same i used on my wheels. just to ensure a perfect match.
