ok so I'm sure you've all seen coomer's 20 valves ST on the home page. Well I bought it and I'm looking for some parts....


the owner of the shop it was livin in for a while put on new throttle linkage but the thing is that it's of a black top and it's not paid for... he put it on because the stock linkage had a gnarley kink in it. So I asked him what it would cost and he told me that it's not for sale but he would loan it to me till I could come up with another one... so that is the first item I'm Lookin for.

the next thing I'm lookin for is a transmition. this is almost more of an inquirey than a WTB but I was woundering if there is a 6 speed tranny for my Silver top 4A?... and if so where could i get one? I herd from my budy who has a turbo 4AGE in is AE86 that I could probably find one on ebay but I haven't had the greatest luck there.

if anybody can help me I'd really appreciate it!

Sup Zach, the throttle linkage..are you referring to the throttle cable? If you are, the throttle cable from a paseo will work fine. As far as a 6-speed tranny (c56), I've only seen on ebay but for the price it's not worth it. The seller charged about the same price for a silvertop from what I remember.

He's looking for the throttle wheel.


And why do you need a new transmission already?

I don't need a new tranny I was just curious as to the availability of the 6 speed and if one happened to be close and cheep then I'd buy it
