Well, i just wanted to know. Is this possible for any old guy and his friends to do? would anyone recommend it? I know it will be tough, but will it be worth me doing or, just some shop? >>

A few members on here have done it. Basically, you'll need the 5-speed tranny, shifter assembly, shift linkage cables, brake and clutch pedal, and probably some other stuff too. I hear that it's not even all that difficult, so I'd get some input from someone who's done it like John (Mynzeyes) and then make a decision.
