Well, I bought this car from my brother 2 days ago...he said he was just about to do a tune up and change the air filter...he didn't have the chance to do it and neither have I. Anyway, when I come to a stop my idle starts dropping from 900 to 800 to 700 and barely stays around 600 rpms...then when I pick up it pops and hesitates with some slight jerking and then it goes good again. What's that all about???

Im going with vac leak. Check for any cracked, loose, or disconnected rubber hoses under the hood.

yeah i figured had something to do with the plugs too, but now my check engine light came on...i have an injen intake with a k&N air filter and an aeroturbine exhaust. It bucks when taking off in 1st at a regular acceleration. I'm going to do the tune up and check for those vac leaks asap, I'll post up again. Thanks!!
check what the CEL code is. That will tell you whats causing the problem.

well I just finished the plugs, wires, cap and rotor...didn't hear any vac leaks at all and traced all hoses and couldn't find anything. since i started it up the check engine light turned off. the plugs were pretty bad and the rotor lead was burned too. I'll have to run it before I'll know for sure...
