I might start selling car DVD players, radios, etc. on ebay. I have inquired to a wholesaler with drop shipping service (i know the risk) does anyone think this might be a good idea? People will always buy that stuff right?
I post item on ebay for like 350$
item cost's me like, 300$
but i only buy the item from the wholesaler if i sell it. So i don't put out anymore money first. And i have already sold stuff on ebay so i know what to do.
In the end 50$ profit. Sell 2, or 3 a week.
Are my ideas realistic? Give it to me straight.
The trouble is that competition, especially on ebay, is so fierce, they drive the prices way way down and the profit margin is very small. (Ebay is a great place to buy and a terrible place to sell). The only way to get a discount deep enough to make any money is with a large up-front purchase. Otherwise, IF you make any money, most if it goes to ebay and paypal fees

My wife does this fulltime so I know a little bit about it
