after you do the spring and shocks on your car...............

do you have to go get your alignment checked??????????

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
YES

Although it is possible to swap w/o messing up your alignment, by removing the strut from the knuckle you have a good chance of messing with it so you should always go somewhere that does alignments and get it checked. Tires don't grow on trees afterall.

you should... what ive always done is make marks, little score marks and then line those up when you put it back in so its at least close.. then put on some cheapy tires, drive like 20 miles or so if its not too far outta whack then take it to get aligned

that way it gives everything a chance to settle in somewhat so your angles & geometry dont change too much once it is aligned perfectly

but yes, get that shibby aligned!

you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!(2:27:32 AM) edit: please f*cking work, f*ck, sh*t, piss(2:28:08 AM) edit: that did the trick
hahah i knew it...........bummer.............i should just let a shop install and do alignment at the same time.

thanks

shops charge way too much to install springs. its pretty simple. just get someone who knows what they're doing to help you out. and then all you have to pay for is the alignment.

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
really not too hard to install, would be a waste of cash to make shop do it
Yeah, and you're lucky you have a hatch. Changing the rear ones in a coupe is a pita.

oh i forgot to mention this flip has family in a shop. but still have to pay for alignment.

yeah i know changing springs/shocks is sort of easy.

I'm doing the same swap right now - KYB's and S.Techs - i picked up a new set of mounts along with the shocks. My stock mounts have like 110000 miles on them, so, since you're taking the struts apart anyway, mounts are a good idea. Plus i had to get new insulators and shock bumpers - mine were all torn up, but if yours are in good shape, they should be OK
