hi there, i'm in the process of buying a 1995 white ssII import, i'm quite excited. I'm
trying to get most of the parts i need to modify delivered before so i can get
them on the car asap.
but my problem is that i'm not sure what lowering springs do i buy, springs for a
GT4 or normal GT springs.
any help greatfully recieved.

Since the SSII uses the same front shocks as the GT4 I would say GT springs in the rear and GT4 springs in the front. TRD sells front and rears seperate.
JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!
ST202 and ST205 springs are both compatible. superstrut suspension or macpherson, doesn't matter. they both work.
but fyi, the gt-fours will generally have a stiffer spring rate for the rears to make up for the heavier rear end (about 55% stiffer than the st202)
i'm currently using RSR st205 springs on my stock macpherson struts.
so use any kind of spring for the front (for a st202 or st205, your choice) but get st205 rear springs if you want a stiffer ride.

thats excellent, thanks alot for the help.
btw, does a ssII have the same break as a normal GT?

superstrut is optional on ssII so check first if you have a superstrut suspension system.
how much does GT4 springs lower the car by, and later on when the springs compress properly?
