what exactly are you trying to turn, because the 3s doesnt have an idle adjustment.

are u serious, everyone on the mr2 forum said it was located on the top of the throttle body facing away from the car, i found it and it does turn, just don't know which way
whats wrong with your idle? there is probably something like a vac leak, or your timing is not set correctly thats causing it to not idle right.
the ecu auto corrects idle. if you mess with that screw it will work for a day or so until the ecu auto corrects itself again.

okay well i will explain my idle to u, it idles fine for like 30 secs, then misses once and drops to 700 from 850, then goes back up
but if I hold the gas really easy at like lets say 900 it doesn't miss at all, any ideas

then you have a vac leak somewhere between the afm and the throttle body. do a boost leak test to find it.

I already did a boost leak down test, and fixed all that, every connection spot is good, I gonna clean my afm, change my fuel filter, and clean my injectors, new cap and rotor and go from there, how does that sound?
check your timing too.
if you do all that, and the problem is still there, then i would look into trying another afm and see if it helps.

ya, i dunno how to check timing, i am a noob at that, is there a how to or, not if not how much does a shop charge?
To adjust timing you loosen the bolt that holds the distributor on and while the car is running you turn it eeeeeever so slightly until you get the right timing. If you don't know what to listen for you can use a timing light. I think autozone will let you borrow one.

It's time for you to not be a noob and learn how to check some things with your car. Checking/adjusting the timing takes about 5 minutes at most, you just need a timing light and some know how.
