hey guys. i just got my HKS induction kit from a member here, but like the hoses didnt line up correctly. its the one that you just connect the filter to the stock hoses. it seemed a little too big. not sure if it supposed to be like that. what size hose adapter thingy am i supposed to get? and where would i get it.

what i basically did was just extra tighten up the metal coil tightener thingy to make it stay.

also, what size filter is it? there are 2 kinds: 200mm and 150mm.

any help would be much appreciated! thanks guys

So let me get this right. You bought a HKS intake kit. That means tubes, intake filter, clamps, and couplers. Or you just got the intake filter?

the kit only comes with the filter, and a short tube. it supposed to clamp directly onto the stock plastic tube.

i don't recall HKS ever making an intake kit for the 5sfe.. you more likely have one for a 3s which has a slightly wider diameter..

dam. is it gonna mess up my car if i have it on? i've kept it on a few days so far. the tube was about half an inch too big i just clamped it on super tight.

could you get a 90* pipe and put 2(?) holes in it then 2 pipe joiners
