how is RH legal to drive in US

In most of the 50 states it's not Illegal,,as in there is no law against it so RHD is no problem.

Soma, you COULD buy a Supra for the price,,,but this car has more traction biggrin.gif and Supras are more common. To be honest, I wish I could afford all of this stuff. wink.gif

All comments good and bad are welcome about the car. It's still for sale either way. But please read the ENTIRE for sale thread before posting something stupid. I wish I paid only 11.5k for the car, but as I stated above. "I paid 21k for the car to this point(that is buying the car($15k)"

mind holding off until after i get my degree? smile.gif i think the price is very fair considering the rarity and condition. youre getting a car comparable to an sti/evo for less (granted its older), and rhd is just badass. too bad it doesnt have the ct20b though. good luck with the sale

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

So, here's the bad. Dent in driver's fender, and the fog lights do not work(I believe the fuse terminals are gone in the relay box), 2 small holes in the dash, and passenger door panel has an indentation.

Can i get some more pics of the fender, dash and passenger side panel? If you dont wanna post them you can email them to me at Skill_Kills@Hotmail.com

Only good thing about this "four"is that it only has 10K miles. Even in Japan - if GT-Four grading is around 3-4 marks with as low milage as this one - price for it is SKY HIGH! (around 10-12K $ IN JAPAN).

One thing im intrested in - how would you guys get SS parts in USA? Its so damn rare to find here in EU - and in US i can not even imagine getting some parts for such car...

Good Luck with the sale, beautiful car. This is the best option to have AWD in a Celica.. conversions just don't cut it like the real stuff!

go to japan-partner.com you can find gt fours for under 5k and import it for about the same price as you bought it.

http://www.japan-partner.com/Auto/3658/Toy...r-for-sale.html

in this link is a gt 4 for 4500

I think everyone else on this site knows, but you can't import Toyotas into the states. You won't be able to get that car here. Plus it has 80,000miles on it, and who knows how it drives. Anyway, if you want to post something like that put it in the General Discussion thread, not here. It has nothing to do with THIS for sale thread.

I have my sources for rotors, engine parts, and SS(however shipping can be bad with the heavy parts) wink.gif

I should probably clear this up about the turbo. It's an upgraded ct26 which has more output than the ct20b. The compressor housing was milled out(between 54 - 60 trim) however I don't have the facts about the turbine side. From what I researched this turbo is like a quick spooling T4.
I have a very straightforward question. After expanding so much effort of obtaining the celica in april of 2007 why in the world are you selling it?

Im trying to understand your possible reasons but I simply can not. Please clarify for sake of every jealous person here why is this gorgeous piece of machinery being let go of?

Amazing low miles. The price is also set right. GL

To keep it short, my living situation changed drastically right after I bought the car. I've been staying at a friends place since, and the car has been in the garage. I just bought a condo that has 1 parking space and the GT4 isn't a daily driver. I have the opportunity for another investment and I'm trying to pull some funds together. I just don't have the means for storage, insurance, and time for this right now. The car has come a long way since I bought it and I'm sure someone can give it the proper care as a collector and fun car to drive, b/c I can't.
I'll be honest, the last owner let it go b/c it was outta his league mechanically and he couldn't get it to run right. He thought there were 800cc injectors installed and there weren't. I don't know why you would install 800's with an ecu tuned for 550's anyway??? Not only that, he was running it with a broken knock sensor, and a few other check engine codes. The other problems were described above.
I will say he was a helluva driver, and he scared the crap outta me in his rx7, but he left tons of problems with this car.

Unless you have knoledge in this - dont even bother to post such ****. 4500+ shipping+ tax+ legalization and in the end?

Another thing - the specific car you posted - 94 with 80K miles, cars over 60K miles in japan are worth NOTHING, and ussualy are pretty beat up. If you want a good running / looking car in Japan - you will have to lay down good amount of $ for it.

Bump bump,,,trying to sell by the new year. Pm or email me if interested.
really interested but how is insurance on this thing?
Insured as 1995 Ceilca ST for $434 a year. It would be best to let the insurance know that the car has upgraded wheels and a few other things in case you get into an accident. The parts on this car are more expensive, so the car should be insured a little more than a '95 Celica ST.

financing available through escrow? i might be interested but cant unless finnacing is available.
Roadloans.com takes care of financing. Escrow.com is the third party that transfer funds if you choose to handle the transaction that way.
For those who are seriously wanting the car, email me and we'll work something out.
