The light in the defroster button should light up when the defroster is on right.... the light works, I think the button is messed up..... anyone can verify it turns on?

get it nice and foggy, and turn it on. or if its raining, turn it on and there will be little lines on the rear window. the light should come on.
doesnt seem to work :S should i buy a new one?
