Why does he need to cut 2 wires to length from the battery? He only needs the positive wire coming from the battery. The negative wire he just need to ground it on any unpainted metal part of the chassis. This will save him wire and is better.
There will be a place under the fender where you will be able to run the cable through and into the cabin of the car. I told LewFX where this spot is and it's where I ran my AMP wire as well. You will be able to see a hole from inside the engine bay which leads to the wheel well, and then into the cabin. A few other wires are ran through this route so you should be able to find it. Then from there on out, just run it under the carpet, and then under or behind a few plastic pieces and your all set.
