Your new wheel will have the following chracteristics:
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 13mm MORE
The outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT in towards the body by 13mm

so if i use a 13 mm spacer, will look to the outside natural. but the clearance from inside doubles. Im not liking this....

The 205/45/16 Tire will be a tight fit with a 16x6 Wheel

According to THIS link. A minimum requirement for a 205/45 Tire is 6.5 to 7.5

I would suggest using 205/50/16 as your tire for the 16x6 Wheel.
For the 16x7 with 45 Offset, well im not familiar with what offset combination would create a flush look with the 6GC, I had a set of 16x7 with 38 Offset, it was a little bit sunk in.

Reseaching some.. I found that EdgeRacing has a set of 16x7 with 45 Offset, this could a few things, It will fit, not sure how well but it will fit without the wheel sticking out past the fender. EdgeRacing usually has a the best possible offset.

If you do get the 16x7 Wheel, I suggest getting a 205/50/16 Tire, My personal favorite for a 16x7 would be 215/45/16 since it sits perfectly with the wheel. For some meaty tires I would go with 225/45/16

I agree with jdg371. Go with the 205/50R16. As i'm concerned, they work great with 16*7, but not sure about 16*6. I personally use 205/50R16 with 16*7.5 and i'm quite happy with the result. My offset is 35mm by the way.

If your looking for stock wheels, the only suggestion I can give is to look at the local classified ads. I have found 3-4 Celica GTS wheels for 200 with tires. tC wheels with tires for 300-400. Matrix wheels are rarer than most due to the fact some Matrix just stay with the factory instead of aftermarket.

You can also look at aftermarket wheels. Go to craigslist.org, its an online based classified ad that is located in major cities in different states. I have found multiple items there. Such as a 404A kit for $50, and many wheels from 100-300.

For wheels, I strongly suggest getting something 7in of wider. 6in wheels look so narrow on our wide fender flares that the car looks like its on stilts.

Yes, in the meantime i will refurbish my wheels, and keep on looking till i find some nice OEM wheels...

I agree with aftermarket being nice, but I really dont want them for now at least...

Like people have said, you should be able to find some good GT-S wheels for pretty cheap. Make sure you get on some other forums.

Nonono, Michelin Pilot Primacy's are really crappy tires. For a summer tire, it has poor grip as it squeels very easily under the slightest bit of force or acceleration. The sidewalls are stiff and creates for a lumpy ride. I took those off after only a couple of months and my new lower profile tires are alot grippier and have a better ride. IMHO don't go for a 6" rim, it severely limits your tire choices, go for at least a 7" rim. If you're looking at corolla xrs rims and you like them, go for the regular matrix xr rims as they come with wider tires and the rim is 6.5" instead of 6".
