come and do mine!!!! cept blue..... >biggrin.gif>
Damn, that looks pretty good. I'm actually going to France next week. I've heard most of the cars over there are pretty small, in Paris anyway. I bet your car really sticks out. >biggrin.gif>
Thanks for your comments...I'm pretty pleased how its turned out.
Just need to get myself an Isotta steering wheel cover and I'm finished.

As for cost...
Foliatec special primer and red interior paint for the black plastic panels and doors, special red bulb paint, seats re-covered (in what we call here Skaii), shift boot and knob, e-brake handle and boot, dash kit ....runs out to around $1000.
(I did all the work myself except for the seat re-covering).

The majority of cars over here are French, that is, Renault, Peugoet, Citreon.
Someone german - Mercedes, Audi, VW.
Therefore the majority of tuning parts found over here are for these, hence why I import just about all my performance parts from the good ol' U S of A.

BlackSTX - Yes there are alot of small cars in Paris that's because its a nightmare to Park and the owner doesn't mind it gettting banged up. Watch out when you cross the road - they don't slow done. Man its a rat race!

Forkee - man I'd love to come over and help you out, fancy buying my flight ticket!?

Next steps...a few exterior parts to start with (jdm tails, clear side markers, double foglights, mesh grill, 5gc wing mirrors, ...)
I'll post photos when I'm done.

Again thanks for your appretative comments.
Change all the red to aqua and you basically have my interior - even the door panels - LOOKS GREAT!

That looks really great. I especially like how you changed colors from red to silver on the plastics. A+ >biggrin.gif>
Thanks for the appreciative comments.

Hey supersprynt how about updating your profile with some new images of your interior.

GT2GT4 - Doggy's celica has a 2-tone interior silver and black. I wanted to go for a 3-tone interior, red, silver and black. All said and done, Doggy's celica is nothing less than magnificent.

That's awesome work. How long were you working on that?
I started back in April and I've just finished, so thats what 4 and half months.

It's my first attempt at doing anything like this so as you can imagine it takes a little longer what with diabolical planning (get the seats down first as they have the longest delay) and teething little problems on the way (like removing the heater unit).
Love the interior. By the way, are you all out Frenchman? You write in English very well...
Thanks for the compliments.
Oh! I'm English but "work" in France.
I've been here about 10years.
Despite being unemployed at the moment, I have no thoughts of leaving.

Oui, je parle et ecrire en francais mais c'est beaucoup plus facile en anglais >biggrin.gif>
Nice, very nice!!! You did Awesome job man...

Give me a Break!!!!!!!Outstanding!!!!!! >smile.gif> Great Job and nice colors,any ideas for a black interior?>smile.gif>
Hey Magic, how about a 3-tone interior.
Black and Bright Blue seats, Bright Blue Lower Panels and and Alu style dash kit.
I think that would work really nice with black.
looks good

your subs look cool mounted there, but im sure they would sound better in a box. Do they rattle? other than that your **** is TIGHT!
I thought the subs would look good in the parcel shelf especially as they are red and match with the rest of the interior.
Also, they are relatively practical mounted there:
1 - it allows you to see my Amp setup;
2 - leaves the trunk free for bags.

No they don't rattle because the cones are rubber mounted and they are heavy enough to keep the parcel shelf from vibrating.
Only 3 real problems:
1 - they are heavy so the parcel shelf bows in the middle;
2 - because of there size I had to be careful that they didn't hit the rear strut bar when the trunk was closed;
3 - they are very overpowering compared to the rest of the system.

I'm sure you're right, they would sound better in a box in the trunk.
I'm thinking of may be inverting them in the parcel shelf so the cones point into the trunk.
If that doesn't work, then I'll make a box to take my Amps and Woofers and mount it where the Amps are now.
I'll then cut out the parcel shelf and install a perspex window and some lighting.
