Is there some kind of product I can use as an upper grill for the bumper. I won't want to order the part from toyota. I also don't want something like chicken wire.

go to a craft store and they make a plastic piece thats VERY similar to a grill mesh. get that and cut to suit your needs, then if you want it to look nice, while your at said craft store pick up some sheets of plastic and mold your own retainer ring type thing. if you dont have the patience and dont want chicken wire and dont wanna shell out the money to buy one, your sol

LOL, yeah your right, I just didn't want to spend 100 plus shipping. I'm actually in contact with someone in the UK to get the mesh and stuff. But if that stuff falls through I'll have to make my own stuff.
