Just what does this thing do, what is the benefit of using it?

It basically adjusts your air flow signal based on settings you specify to make your car use an optimum amount of air and fuel so that it's not running too rich or too lean. My friend is actually planning to put one in his 2.5RS tomorrow because he's running so rich that when his car backfires, it not only sounds like a canon, but flames shoot out his exhaust pipe.

Oh yeah, it can also display your rpm, your knock sensor level, throttle percentage, etc.

Thats nice.

Is he turbocharge or change cams?

i have a friend with a 1977 celica GT hatch and it beckfires when you turn the car off!!!

flames out the back and all.
