Face your fears, Live your dreams!!!
If anyone is looking into RC drifting, the perfect kit is the Tamiya TT-01. It's what alot of people have been using.

Call me a traitor! See if I care. ;)
the drift version RC's have PVC type of tires I believe, they are somewhat expensive though but you know you're getting you money's worth since they come from Japan. I wish they have a celica body though, but I found a supra though biggrin.gif
theres a gt-4 body around its just really rare. Last time i saw it on ebay the only one was in istanbul turkey

Hey guys wassup.

I got myself a TT-01R chassis from Tamiya as well as the other parts to complete my RC. TT-01 are 4WD so its a lot better from drifting.

I've been looking for a Body Set 1/10 version of the ST205 celica but Tamiya stopped making it awhile ago. I found a couple of 5th Gen gt4s on ebay but... it comes with a chassis I dont need.

If anyone can find one, hit me up please, but for now I have my eyes on two Body Set atm.

This first one is IPB Image

XD help with the decision?
i bought a cheapo drift RC car, its called a Tyco RC DriftKings, i have the RX8, Bought it from Winners for 56$.

I am amazed at how this little 50$ car performs so much fun for so little money i highly recommend them. Go on youtube and search Tyco Driftkings see for yourself! lol
when I was a kid I dreamed about tyco RC cars. since my parents couldn't afford one I learned how to make little RC cars biggrin.gif

I haven't made one since I was 14, but if I can find a nice GT-4 chasis I'll make one more

You won't be able to find a GT4 body. I even emailed Tamiya asking if they had any left over in the back somewhere. I was building a Team AE TC4 to race. Built the chasis, but don't have money for the motor, servos, etc. lol. So I have this race chasis sitting here. I don't even money to fix my 1/8 Buggy. kindasad.gif

you can find a GT-4 body, I've seen a couple on ebay used, actually if you know someone is Japan you can probably get on time and get a used one that is for auction in Yahoo auctions japan.

be ready to pay, but is possible to find one.
Yea tyco is inexpensive but its a toy R/C. lol I'm aiming for the hobby R/C. Plus theres competition taking place out there so yeah... biggrin.gif cant wait to join it once I get better. Once my stuff arives, I'll youtube my set up.

Check out how the real one works. qualification drift
