Just thought I will share what I did a little while ago in preparation of a sound quality competition. Not finished and needs to be bogged,sanded and either painted or covered with vinyl/carpet. Tweeters would also be flush mounted once I have done all the bogging etc, this will be done with washers etc.

Drill holes for fiberglass to stick to panel
Resin + chopped strand mat
Test fitting. So glad that they still fit.No obstruction to pedal and the tweets are not blocked
Took me quite a while to grind a good circle
Best tool for the job of grinding and cutting.
