hey, I also go to UCSD. There's an import car club here called Imports@UCSD, www.importsucsd.com/, they have some pretty fun events but most of the people who are involved have more expensive cars that their parents bought them, for example, lexus, bmw, sti, evo etc. Check out the site or facebook group, the events are a good place to meet other car ppl and have a good time, they've had kart racing, cruises, bbqs, meetings and all sorts of other things. pm me if you wanna know more about ucsd or anything.
