Yeah so my radiator is what was leaking really all of it just got pushed back because my hood latch didn't give so it brought everything back with it....or at least thats what i think...the support that the fender is attached to is crumpled like a tin can you cant really see it i'll have to get better pics

I had the same damage (on the pass. side/ pics on my cardomain)

It happened a few years ago, but I think I spent a total of $2500 confused.gif

And in that price I had the car on the frame machine to straighten that same bit, used fender (which I lucked out it being the same white biggrin.gif ) and other parts were salvaged meaning that they bent supports back AFTER I already bought new ones (their price is included in the $2500) Instead of returning those supports and get my money back I figured I'd keep them for when I rebuild my car and use non-damaged bits.

Also in that price is my cf hood, jdm headlamps, ground control coilovers, new replacement shocks, my invader front bumper, and my clear turnsignals/ side markers.

I paided for all this on my own since I too only had liability kindasad.gif

I didn't have to get a new radiator at the time but a year or so later it cracked and cost me $150 from napa.

I've never had to get a new windshield (though I need to since I got a lond crack in it) and I've never priced the gt-4 bumper and hood but I'm sure they wouldn't be much more than my bumper and hood?

From the new pics this really looks like the same type of thing that happened to me (only on the other side) so this cost should give you a better idea.

Anything else I you need I'll try to help tongue.gif

i'll keep a look out on a front window for cheap when i do my weekly run to the yard smile.gif

Pandelica 2.0 in progress.
if u need projectors, hit me up! but if u love your car, fix it and the help on 6gc will always be there for you
yeah appreciate and when u run to the yard you think you could hunt down all my body parts bumper rear bumper hood fender and such....

Yo lew how much are those projectors running?
Damage doesn't look to bad.. of course things are bent broken etc. but it is all fixable and what better way to learn than to do it yourself?

have you started any work yet? I personally would start by removing that fender, the busted head lights, battery, radiator, etc. to see if anything more difficult got pinched or broken.. like wires or an ac line etc.
Yeah, definietly start taking off broken pieces to get a better look at it.

Can you still drive it? Drive's straight still? I asked because when I wrecked mine I stripped the damaged pieces and drove it to shops to get estimates.

His radiator is cracked so he has no coolant system, so driving it is out of the questoion
i thought i remeber reading about some rear damage on the car. do you have any pics of that?

Call me a traitor! See if I care. ;)
yeah its just cosmetic though some girl hit me with a 2005 civic and scratched all the paint and put a hole in the rear bumper but nothing bad i will end up just waiting on that more than likely until i get it drivable

i will end up fixing the radiator and pulling and bending all the supports back with the help of my dad who is quite knowledgeable on body work so im lucky i got him around.

oh yeah well just got back from shop and he got an estimate on parts for me

windshield $185
hood $265 but i can get oem carbon fiber for 300 so i think ill just pay the extra so i don't have to paint
left fender $206
radiator $198 but they are $150 from Napa I've heard
front bumper cover $198
rear bumper cover $148
comes out to be around $1200 or so not that bad.

Still need Driver side headlamps and Steering wheel and driver side hood hinge so i am open to that

thanks 6gc

you can get some of those parts here a lot cheaper..
thats including shipping and everything though, but if you can get new parts shipped to texas cheaper than that , that would be awesome.
theres gotta be someone in texas with a spare hood..
im just gonna get a carbon fiber for 300 so i dont gotta paint it...i think it will look nice with my wheels
left fender $206 - I would say go aftermarket fiberglass you will get both and get style
radiator $198 but they are $150 from Napa I've heard - may wanna go koyo race if you plan on ever going 3s, 4a or force induction
front bumper cover $198 - once again maybe try some style for the same price
rear bumper cover $148 - see above

just my advise

-DMC
man, just go to a dismantler or junk yard. you'll get it much cheaper. keep it...
d dawg has a oem hood that he is trying to sell and we are in SA but you would have to paint..
pm me if you are intrested

Hey you guys just giving an update i know i've been back and forth with parting my car, but i got a killer deal from a guy...it turned out i needed a completely new core support so i went to houston last saturday and got one cut off of a junker....got it welded on and all the parts were ordered aftermarket and i got killer deals....so all in all im ending up about $3000 in the hole, but its getting all the hail damage removed and fresh paint....so it will look alot better than it did before the wreck....i'll post pics as soon as it gets out...

thanks alot for all the help,
jared
