Guys quick question, that sea foam spray stuff,in the uk its called powerboost foam,i've done that twice on my car n i've always used this is little spot just after the throttle body where theres a small thin hose which is just uncliped, its just on the top right of the throttle body, theres like some sort of little clip that is held tight around it to hold it in place..i wanted to know..is there an alternative location for injecting this stuff into the engine..? if so..where..? can i get a pic pointing it out..

thanx alot guys..
That seems like a fine place. As long as theres a vacuum line going into the TB you should be fine.

Make sure you use it in your crankcase and gas tank too.

Crankcase and gastank? i didnt even know you could do that..how do i go about doing that then..?
IMO don't use it in the crankcase.
Too much chance of breaking large particles off.
Regular oil changes with good quality oil will clean the inside just fine.

Just use it in the gas tank and intake.

You can use any line that gives you engine vacuum.
Some TB ports don't always give engine vacuum.
IMO the best place is a vacuum line straight off the intake manifold plenum.
Can i use one of the hoses that runs off the induction kit hose..?
With the throttle plate closed you won't get much vacuum on the intake hose side.....
but i'm gona be having the engine revved at 2500rpm..while i inject it so the throttle plate will be open abit more than it is at idle..so surely i'll have vacuum..i just wanted to know if it was a good idea..

thanx for the help guys..
sorry my ignorance, what does the foam really do. is this the one you can use to clear out water particles from the tank? or just dirt.... anyone kindasad.gif

breaks down the carbon deposits in your motor
My 5s Camry developed a huge leak after adding this stuff 1-2 times in the crankcase. Then again the motor had over 300,000 miles on it.

any pics on whoch hose to pull off and spray..jus to clear things up for some ppl....

IMO, seafoam works GREAT!!!!! lower idle on my car ever since i used seafoam eevry 6 months....
