nice man...theres a few guys running around toronto that i know of with some inline 6 swaps in their 240s. I gotta buddy with a RB25 in his S13 and another guy with a 1J in his S12.
that's pretty damn awesome.

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
thats a really cool swap. i wouldnt mind doing something like that in the future. whats involved in getting it done?

Custom engine mounts unless u can get away with using a skyline k member??, custom driveshaft...thats really all i can think of at the momment. Its pretty much like swapping in an rb

Now SR powered
Yeah pretty much, it's actually not all that hard. Custom mount kit and custom driveshaft, obviously some mad scientist wiring at the hands of Dr Tweak, a few little odds and ends, and that's about it. It's actually cheaper to do a 1JZ swap (2.5 Twin Turbo) than any of the RB swaps.

the rb swaps are crazy. a local guy around here has one. the motor just BARELY fits. you could put a feeler gauge between the motor and the low profile radiator fans. thats how little clearance there is. the 2j looks like it fits better, with the exception of the air intake.

Honestly, I would say you're right. The 1JZ goes in even better, even the heater hoses and throttle cable connect right up!

No kidding, My friends 1J cost him 14K in parts alone and that was worth more than his car itself in his Mk3.
(Its not even complete yet)
