ok first off these are the rims i have:



these are the rims i want.. (should have bought them first, but i was impatient and they were out of stock...... (< idiot)



The more i think about adding power to the car and someday AWD (yes) i want wide tires. besides i love the look.

TSW offers these sizes on the vortex^
17x8
18x8
18x9
19x8
19x9.5

17x8 is what i have and its not bad.

what i would love would be 18x8...

19x9.5 is nice but overkill on a celi..
but 18x9 seems like it will look good and be plenty wide..


but the BIG problem is... they don't sell it 5x100
they only sell 18x8 in 5x100. if i were to buy 18x8 i'd just buy 17x8's so i could have more sidewall, but i would like 18x9.. can i swap my hubs out from a different toyota etc? or am i really just being rediculous?

I'm just being rediculous aren't I? i mean they wouldn't even fit at 18x9 right? they would rub etc. I know they would defiantly rub agains the fenders, because i already had to roll mine with the 17x8's..

i should just stick with the 17x8's and get a good set of rubber if i really want to stick right?

Seller said they were 5x100 they were 5x114.3 but i didnt want to part with the rims so i got these adaptors made. they give you more clearance for a wider wheel too. hope this help.

I dont know where you got that from because this Full Blown Race car runs the same style adaptors over its Endless BBK. There isnt a good enought picture in this website but i have the same car in my Turbo magazine that has a close up of the brakes without the wheel. If they can run this track monster using these adaptors, id say its safe enough for my car. Besides there isnt a hub that will fit right, I looked. the closest is a camry hub but its slightly bigger. The holes that line up with the shock are further spaced which would require redrilling holes in the shock. not only that the lower control arm bolts are off by a 1/2 inch.

Redrilling to fit a different hub sounds more dangerous to me...
