does anybody have any good tips on how to paint brake calipers? thanks
how to paint brake calipers??? - 6G Celicas Forums
Grab yourself a can of Caliper spray paint in the color you want, which is available either online or in JCWhitney, Autozone (maybe?)....its carried alot of places, so just find a can and follow the steps it gives you.
EDIT- and you'll only have to take of your wheel to get at the caliper, so dont worry about taking off your brakes or anything

You can use any high temp engine paint from advance auto parts or auto zone. Take off your wheel, and start spraying the caliper. If you get it on the rotor, it will burn off or be rubbed off by the brake pads. Apply 2 coats.
Is there anyway to do it without taking the wheel off?
taking your wheel off is necisary... and not all that hard with a jack and lug wrench! Be glad they didnt tell you to take the caliper off...
Also to avoid the rotors better when painting you might wanna take off the bottom bolt on the backside of the caliper, this alows it to pivot away from the rotor (also what you would do to change your pads!)
