Hi, just recently my 5sfe has started to idle weird. Sometimes it idles at 600-700rpms, then suddenly dips to below 500 rpms and then my car shakes as though im about to stall.
i changed spark plugs not long ago. Does anybody know what else i should check for?
aic and o2 sensor could be bad or aic needs cleaning

where are these located? I feel like mine wants to do that sometimes
where is everyone idling at anyways? I go to 800-900 but sometimes w/ AC on it varies lower

o2 is on exhaust manifold, aic is on intake manifold
i have the same exact problem wit my car right now after i cleaned my engine bay.. duno wat to do
check distributor, plugs, wires, and air filter. i needed a complete tune-up when my car did something exactly like this.
i had the same idle problem and after i cleaned my IAC or idle air control valve the problem went away. beside it could be just the hot weather , i heard that older engine start to idle weirdly in hotter weather. but clean your IAC anyways , its easy and its only going to cost you a can of Carb cleaner
idles weird w/ a/c on? hows it idle without the a/c?
