first, the caliper doesn't mount on the strut, it goes on the axle carrier (steering knuckle). but i'm sure that's what you meant Driveby.
but according to this thread:
Guide to install ST205 brakes on ST185the st205 calipers mount on to the st185 axle carrier without the use of a custom bracket or adapter.
however, i'm not sure what the case is for mounting st205 calipers on a st202 or st204. can anyone verify that?
seeing how they fit
st185s and some
corollas, there's a chance they'll fit on the st202/st204 carriers as well.
now, if they do fit the st204, there are also other things that need to be considered like getting different caliper bolts matched to fit, caliper-to-wheel clearance, longer brake lines, lower balljoint clearance (as mentioned in the link above), whether the discs are centered with the caliper, etc etc...
if anyone has an extra set of st205 calipers/axle carriers, can anyone let us know the distance between the caliper bracket bolt holes?
here's a pic of when i was putting in new brembo discs and calipers:

as you can see, it's about 142mm or 14 inches between the two ends of the st204 caliper bolt holes.
