just put on my gt four bumper, but how do you secure the top part of the bumper where it needs to be? i have a gap right now with my hood.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

I'm assuming that you have the gt four hood and the gt4 hood latch also. You have at least two options.

Option 1:
53395-20020 seal, hood to bumper
52521-20200 retainer, front bumper upper center
use spacers/washers to pack the retainer away from the bumper support bar

Option 2:
As option one, but order the GT-4 version of the bumper support bar. I believe it has to be spot welded in place - not a simple bolt-up.

yup, either you buy the GT-4 bumper upper support bar, drill out the welds that hold yours in, and replace it with the gt-4 one, or
just buy some fender washers or whatever and longer bolts with nuts and install it like that.

are the hole in the gt four bumper supposed to line up with the holes on the support? doesnt look like they will easily. could you show me pics of how yours is supported please.

I made some little L brackets with a tapped hole for the cover
and a slot for the upper bar so I can do minor adjusments
aft and fore. I am going to make some when I get time.
I'll try to post a pic in the next day or 2.

JDM guy made me do it.
