A few of the local Scion guys are going to have a little photoshoot at night. Somone's bringing a good pro-camera and I was going to take my crappy old Sony point-and-shoot camera for kicks. It's very old, a DSC-L1, only has like 4 megapixels. Anyway, what are the best settings to have the camera at for the best shots?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Avoid flash, but make sure theres light. Use a longer exposure, keep the ISO low.

cool. my iso goes from 100-400 so i'll try the lowest one. now, exposure, all i can find on my camera is:
Exposure Compensation: +/- 2.0 EV, 1/3 EV Steps
So I can set it from -2 to +2, whatever that means. what would be the longer exposure? thx.
400 should be ok, not much noise at that level, better if u were at 200.
The +2 will give you a longer shutter speed if theres no Manual mode for your camera.
Start at 200 with +2 if thats too dark go to 400 +2 if thats still too dark use more light.
