Please post name of any ebay sellers who have 2.5" tubing on Accord CAI. Most don't mention it and I have yet to receive a response from any sellers. Want to leave everything as stock as possible.

eautosource is the only place that supposedly has 2.5" piping, some people get 3" and some people get 2.75" though. I got 2.75" and i was still able to fit it in, just couldnt keep the fuse box bolted down, which was no big deal.

Fair warning, eautosource isnt well maintained. While they did get me my item, that is what they were paid to do. They did it with little communication and 3 inch piping (which I am kinda happy with anyway.)

I didnt get my intake for 5 weeks. They have terrible communication too, i sent at least 4 e-mails to there eBay store and their e-mail address and i never heard from them once, no tracking number or anything...

Eautosource sent me 2.75 pipes with an open tip filter.
It took 10 days. I did the same thing Chinaman did because I didn't want to cut the whole bigger for the CAI.

Also, there was a flimsy metal bracket they sent me along with it, I was using it to support the intake but it snapped so I have to find another way to support it. I think the piping/filter is too heavy to support off the throttle body.

It does fit, but it also rubs on the pipe. I haven't had any trouble with the bracket on mine yet...if something does I'm sure you can just get a piece of metal at lowes and drill a hole for it.
I'd just rather have a custom SRI than the CAI, more peace of mind to me, I like it for the sound. I need to figure out how to make a heatshield/airbox, after I get my Silla radiator put on.

Somewhere in this forum I have a post on heat shields and someone showed me how to make one. Or you can buy one for your size piping and just put it on.

bypass valves arent really needed, like they are nice and add even more sound, idk, im keeping my cai cause the sound was soooo much deeper with it that with my sri, ill prolly even add a bypass valve to get even more sound lol
I thought a bypass valve restricts sound...thanks chinaman....did you figure out what to do about the bracket?
Tell ya what. If you decide to go CAI and DONT put in a bypass valve, avoid any puddle you see because you hit one at the right angle and you will send water shooting into your engine. Have fun replacing that broken crankshaft because that is exactly what I did to my last car.
As far as the bracket goes, I just bought some metal pieces from Lowes. I bought a 6 and 8 inch and I will probably need to do some bending to make sure it fits right . Ill get pictures when I can.

I don't know which seller is the best, but all I can Say is that the 2.5" Accord CAI system fits perfectly in my 98' Honda Accord
