Ashtray light? - 6G Celicas Forums

Maybe I'm dumb but I noticed a crack in my ashtray and when I looked closer and took it out, I noticed a little window, so I looked in where the ashtray fits and there is actually a light. Its very tiny, and doesn't work. Did anyone know they had an ashtray light? lol What other things do I not know about in my celi

Hmmm, did you know it's a fridge beneath your back-seats?
easiest way to change that bulb is to take that whole center console piece right out. I was able to do it without taking all that out but it took way longer than it should have for such an insignificant thing

I found I could get to it by removing the leather shift gaiter.

Whats the number on the bulb so I can get a new one? I've known that its been there but mines never worked since ive had the car. Thanks for the help. -John

It's a type 74 bulb. One of the really small ones.

It's a type 74 bulb. One of the really small ones.

I changed my blown one with a wide angled blue led for the hell of it laugh.gif
