I pass a Tiburon on the way to work everyday and I noticed that the fog lights on it (00 or 01 model) are very similar in shape and size to the ones that fit the 96+ bumper, but they are clear, like the JDM projectors.

Has anyone ever checked to see if they would fit? Of course they would require modification to be mounted and the wiring would need to be switched as well. Just an idea.



(I always thought the styling of these cars was a rip-off of the celica )

Or are there any clear fog lights out there for our car?

i like the idea.... Someone try it!

find them on e-bay and have the seller give you all the measurements and then have someone measure their stock ones

or buy them and put them in your bumper if they dont fit re-sell

I was actually going to try and see if an ebay seller would give me the measurements. Apart from being clear, it would be nice if they filled in the space in the bumper a bit more where the celica fogs go.

The ebay seller of the ones in the second pic sent me back this:



I'd have to pop out one of mine and measure it. 8" seems quite wide (thought it is on an angle), but there is quite a lot of spare room on the curved end of the Celica fog lights.

8" is wide, mine looks more like 7" there is a little room by the curved end but that's where the bracket is idk
