I cut the positive and negative wires off the stock speakers and now, stupid me, i cant remember which one was positive/negative. There is a black w/ red stripe wire and just a black wire. Which is which? Quick easy question guys!

it doesn't matter for speakers all you'll maybe do is put the speaker out of phase but its nothing that you'll be able to notice in the celica with even decent equipment.... ummm i would guess though that the black with red is positive and straight black is negative

I've uploaded the diagrams from the st205 manual. From my experiance with toyota, they very rarely change wire colors so this should be the same for all 20x range.

I've included both the 6 speaker no amp and 8 speaker amp versions.

our 6 speaker systems in the US have a power amplifier and the 8 speaker have two, which your diagrams actually show...
