Stock exhaust is over the axle. What 95CelicaST did was a straight through exhaust for better flow. BTW, what rear muffler and pipe diameter you running on Coomer's old celi? Oh, and get a vid up of the car.

Yes, stock is over-axle. I ran under the rear. The muffler is from Vibrant Performance ( http://www.vibrantperformance.com ) and the part number for the muffler is 1049. Piping is 2.5"

Wow, what a great sound. Thank you for those vid's. I'm definately going to run a setup like that...
For you guys with straight piping; how noticable are the gains?
Oh - and how much does a custom setup like this run a guy, on average...? Less piping, less mandrel bends, I would almost think it wouldn't be too much... but a heads up is always nice.
Thanks for everything guys, and thats a sweet new addition to the Yeli Celi, 95CelicaST.

Yeah, I was just holding the camera.. oh well. Works for me. If I was trying to show my cluster maybe, but for sound purposes, holding it just fine.
The setup cost me nothing to have installed - because the shop screwed up the previous axle-back, so they did all of this work at no cost... no wonder I always go to these guys.
As for a power gain, I noticed a bit more lower-end torque which the Silvertop can definately use.

NICE
Seems to me that you have that same clicking noise from the vvt intake cam gear that I have with my silvertop. Well can't do anything about it since it doesn't affect performance of the engine. So how are you liking Coom's old celi? The exhaust sounds great, in fact it's deeper then mines.
>
Yeah when I picked her up from Coomer I was worried about the ticking.. thinking maybe the valves needed to be adjusted, but after reading around club4AG it set my mind at ease... however some HKS or Toda cams would be nice
The Yelli Celi is treating me well. I had an issue earlier on maybe 4 or 5 days after buying her where I took her for a road trip to Cannon Beach and the steering wheel almost came off.... but I have since fixed that.
I am loving the exhaust. It pairs real well with the velocity stacks.

Heres my exhaust...its 2.5" from the headers back with a magnaflow cat, resignator and muffler and its an over axel too.

video/sound clip...its actually alot louder in this clip than it usually is because my idel was sittin high cuz i havent driven my car yet today. When its at full operating temp, the exhaust is really really quite untill i step on it.

Here is mine. I got it redone this week.
I went for the sleeper look this time, so no more slanted big old exhaust can for me.
It's nice that cops don't even bother to look. Funny thing is that it's considerably louder than the race Magnaflow can I had before, but sounds way different and deeper. I dig it. The guy installed a 3" 12219 model but it was too loud so I downgraded to the 2.5" 12216 one. The tip is Magnaflow too.
Everything came out to $307 with redoing the intercooler piping and installing the new intercooler too.

Reamus makes nice systems..very nice lowtone sound...but a bit to euro sound for my liking. there systems make cars sound like a VW
Humm, not sure what kind of sound that would be.
Got a sample ?

Netrata, how do you like that Megan Racing muffler? I was planning on getting one for my GT with 2.5" piping.

It's alright. Probably would sound a bit different since the 5sfe has a bigger displacement then the 4age. All in all, i'm satisfied with the results.
