'ghost' emblem part #... - 6G Celicas Forums

sorry if this has been covered but i looked at the sticky for part #'s along with searching and i couldn't find a part number for these. are they the special edition badges? any help would be awesome, i need a rear emblem and i love these...

They came on the 97 special editoin celicas.

i don't think anyone knows. i have asked that as well. i think that you need to get the vin off a 97 limited and order the emblems at a dealer. other than that everyone says that the emblem part # is the same. IDK what else you can do.

If that is the case, it is probably just the colour code (the last two characters, eg. -CO) that specifies it is the ghost emblem.

update: well i went to toyota today and told them i had a 97 LE celica and i needed the hatch-badge... and he showed me the part diagram and i was like yea thats it and told him it was an ST and what not... but i got the number :
75471-20060

but thats just the regular hatch badge... grrrrrrr. but i bought one off of ebay for 8 bucks shipped and it shipped today like 20 minutes after i bought it, so thats wicked. i just bought a small can of paint and i'll spray it metallic black lol. it'll get the job done (hopefully)

Go back and find out what the last two characters are. It should be something like 75471-20060-XX.

ok dumb question how do you know if your celi is a special edition? i have a 97 st is it a le?

if your badges arent silver or gold then you have one, thats the easiest way...
and if you have a special edition, you have the badge i (along with others) are desperately searching for.

well thanks alot man. even though i told the guy i had a 97 LE ST.
so i'm just not sure as to why telling them the VIN would really matter.
has anyone given this a try?

I have a 97 Limited Edition that I took all the badges off when I cleaned up the exterior. What are these ghost badges you are all talking about? I am pretty sure all the badges I took off are laying in my garage somewhere.

My body guy says he found them and ordered me some from a toyota dealer here in tennessee.If they are the correct ones,I wouldnt find ording them for you guys either you would just have to pay me first to insure that im not going to have to pay 50 dollars and emblem them get stuck with them.
