Removing/Moving Logo's on hatch - 6G Celicas Forums

on the back of my 94 GT, there are the words Toyota Celica, the toyota symbol, and GT. How can I remove these and move these? Also, is there paint under these logos? Holes?

If they are just stuck on I would like to remove them.

double sided tape, use heat gun or hair dryer to warm up, pry carefully and then use goo gone to clean up sticky mess...there might be a "tan line" effect in the end

whatever you do do not try to use a razor blade to scrape off the leftover tape.

i learned the hard way.

there are two holes where the toyota logo is wink.gif

Yea I've done all but the Toyota logo in the center of the boot/trunk due to the holes. I picked a hot day and used a hair dryer to warm up the piece some more. I then used a length of fishing line and worked it back and forth.

keep in touch cause I'm gonna see if I can find a hellica symbol to go there.

anyone know where i can get a thicker one? All I know of are those stickers that someone here makes but I was hoping for a thick logo like the original logo.

i dont think anyones actually molded one into a badge, i just know of the stickers.

Finished, just have a bit of residue left that you can see upclose only.

Heated the pieces with a hairdryer for about 3 minutes then used dental floss to get them off and then paint thinner/ fingernails to get the crap off.

damn a helica style symbol would be quite badass, hope someone makes those.

Or anybody know where i can get the CELICA writing but in cursive sorta like the one the Supra has.

At current exchange rates, a rough guide is to multiply GB pounds by 2 to get US dollars.

To remove emblems use dental floss or light test monofiliment fishing line.
I got my LE badge off my stock bumper with 4 lb test and these badges are very fragile.

I made these biggrin.gif Sorry I won't be making more, and there are only 3 sets in exsistence
like this. I have one and they are not for sale nor will I ever put them on. laugh.gif I'm goofy that
way. The front and rear are different in case you don't know already.
The other 2 sets are owned by streetzking or at least they used to be the last I heard. kindasad.gif

The Toyota badge is Likwidart, same as the rest of the graphics. I am sure there is someone in the stares who now supplies them

I deal with the UK Likwid art guy all the time for bit's for my company, really good graphics in my opinion with no end of idea & colour schemes smile.gif

wow thanks man. I'm buying one of those helica ones for sure. Cursive one is a little too over priced but damn i might not be able to resist next time i see it on there.
