I'm trying to find a header for my 5SFE (which we all know is rather difficult
) I have found headers for the 90-93 Celi GT 5SFE and am curious if anyone knows if the exhaust ports/bolts were changed between the 5th gen and 6th gen models? I've also looked at 91-94 MR2 headers, which from what I've read only require modification to the downpipe to fit the Celi. Anyone have experience/insight on this? I'm really trying hard to find a 4-2-1. Thanks!

ive also been on the search for some headers for my daily driver, to give it a little more grunt. I kno ebay has a few options for the 6th gen, and these look promising but i havnt found a review. I kno you lose one of the cats and an o2 senser with a header, but either welding a new mount for the senser or a fuel controlly and some electrical handywork would keep the ecu chill. Attaching more pipe to a stainless mr2 header sounds like a hell of a weld job. Im also game for more info on the 5th gen exhaust
i believe there'e a few threads on the 5sfe headers....
if your looking to get an 4-2-1 good luck...
for 4-2-1 you have to get the 3sfe header and modify it to fit because the down pipe is different...
this header is okay to use i had one before i got into an accident(you can check my profile i have a pic of my engine bay)...there were some noticable gains...pretty much this a header with no cat and has two holes for both sensors...
i personally would perfer a 4-2-1 but there's non made for the 6gc 5sfe....hope this answers your questions...

i have a set of pacesetter 4-1 headers from a 5th gen celica on my car. The flange mounts up perfectly fine with the 6th gen block, the only problem you are going to encounter with them is the bottom mounting flange that attatches to the downpipe is a different size and the distance is about 1 1/4" between the original down pipe and flange. To solve this, the first time i went out to an exhaust shop, bougth a new flange and a metal gasket from my local muffler shop, then welded the flange up to the bottom of the heads after we cut the old flange off with a sawsall. Then we just bought some bolts, buttoned up the bottom flange loosely and then reamed the top flange onto the block. The problem with that setup was that my downpipe was hittin my oil pan and boiling my oil. So i added an oil cooler witch helped. But then i had some damage to my exhaust thanks to a nice sized rock that i ran over and ended up having to re-do my entire exhaust system, so when that happened, i had my downpipe re-made to give some clearance between the oil pan and the piping. So if you do wanna get headers off a 5th gen, be ready for some simple but tedious work.
i have a 4-1 header that used to be on my car that im not using anymore....pm me if u might want it
I just purchased a header off of ebay . I havent gotten them yet but i will be sure to let you know if it all works out. After I paid for them, I received an email from them thanking me for the payment, this email was from Megan Racing, so i am assuming that this is the manufacturer.
Any of you ever tried the newer Camry manifolds?
They're 4 into 1 with a cat and a O2 bung before the cat.
A pretty good step up from yours.
The flange bolts up to your engine fine.
The cat end won't bolt directly to your exhaust so something would have to be fabbed up.
