i have a quick question.. my mr2's alternator took a dump last week n i need to get a new one.. but i have an alternator from my celica.. so heres my dilemma.. the mr2 is a 3sgte.. the celica is a 5sfe.. can i use the alternator from my 5sfe to my 3sgte??

plugs will be different but you can swap the plugs but unfortunately the way it mounts up is different and it all depends what year 3sgte you have and what it came out of.
i just drilled the 5s alternator out 3/4" and slapped it on the 3s with the 3s alt plug
I'll sell you my 3s alternator if you want it. PM me if interested
EDIT: The alternator i just bought as a rebuild but i never used it.
