idk how much it would be, i coudent imagine more than like 150-250$
i would go with some new shocks, either koni yellows , or some kyb gr2's.

vissi is right, unless you have <10k on your shocks, it's best to replace them when you install the springs. i would also inspect and consider replacing the mounts.

as for installation, it's not a difficult or time-intensive project. you and a friend should be able to knock it out in a couple hours as long as you have some basic mechanical knack, a set of jackstands, and an impact wrench. there are a couple suspension write-ups on the site, check them out before you pay anyone to do it.

do you know who i am, mr. worley?

lol. Either go with the $600 fully adjustable shocks, or the $150 OEM replacement shocks? I dunno, i just found that funny. But yes you should replace the shocks at the same time, AND THE TOP MOUNTS! Go OEM top mounts. It is likely that your old top mounts will crack and clunk over every bump.

Teh Celica sleeps for Winter '06. Suspension overhaul begins........
^ lol , my odd logic aside, i was wondering how much top mounts are?
Im bout to replace mine to XP, i got some tiens im resting my feet on right now biggrin.gif

I believe it depends on how much you drop your car... For example Tanabes with drop 0.9 inch has no problem with stock shocks (they even say they are designed for use with stock shocks).

No more replicas... This is evolution... This isSS-four:)________[Featured Celica of 6gc.net @ 2010]_________
If you are getting the lowering springs to have the lowered stance, but retain stock-like ride then buy the KYB GR-2 shocks. If you are going to go into Auto-X driving then invest in a coilover setup or Koni yellows.
