Resistance Fall of Man just released an add on pack that should be pretty fun. It was $7.99 so I downloaded it and will give it a shot here in a day or two.

Everyone who has a PS3 also needs to pick up Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas because it's fun as hell. The online appears to be pretty fun and involves a lot more skill than simply running around and shooting at each other... I know both Jeff and I have it and I reccomend it to anyone.

yeah, i saw you online earlier playing rainbow 6. i'll probably pick that game up. not anytime soon though cuz i just got nba street homecourt. pretty fun game. the tricks and dunks are just frikkin siick.

you have a fps... but not a tactical fps that is this amazing.... and i really enjoy there being no freakin chimera

As you guys in the US are behind us by um 8 hours? If we setup a 6gc motorstorm challenge then it would have to be UK night and USA morning.

I only got it last week so not overly knowledgable of the tracks in motorstorm (was racing last night online and they kept putting us on tracks I've not been on yet haha! - Guess what - I never won any!)

Yeah, there are some jerks out there.

I got bored of resistance pretty quickly, it's ok. I never even finished the Single player campaign

I can highly recommend Warhawk. £19.99 to download from the PS store. It's my best game. Great bargain, always loads of games online

i might just go buy it at the store. it comes with a bluetooth headset so it might be worth it

YEAH i originally gave up with resistance as it seemed impossible to play (even on easy) on your own. Played it on co-op mode and it was alot better and you don't get killed immediately like on the single player game.

Yeah not sure about downloading expensive games, better to buy on cd (well blu-ray anyway!) then at least if the hard drive gets corrupted (hopefully never!) then you still have the original game on cd.

Giving motorstorm most of my attention at the moment, other than trying to get a top slot on the GT5 demo leaderboards.

I got my PS3 in Hong Kong before they came out in UK, and i got Motorstorm from there (NO ONLINE PLAY) what's it like online? i was considering getting a UK version.

And at the end of the month it's all about Pro EVO God i've missed football games!

Racing online is heaps better than single player. Hope GT5 allows online racing too. Nice to get real people controlling the cars rather than the CPU which takes the same line alot of the time.

The host did keep picking tracks that I haven't raced before though so I came last a few times. Oh well, will keep up the single player and learn the tracks more.

As for footy, I played the demo of fifa08 and wasn't overly impressed. Hopefully for you Pro Evo will be better.

Also I'm not sure if you're Japan PS3 will play a UK game will it?

I've never played any of the pro evo's so I can't really comment.

If you buy it from PLAY.com you can enter a world tournament to win £50,000 - supposedly if you buy it from anywhere else then you can't enter the tournament - Not sure how true that part is!

resistance isn't hard unless you're on insane or whatever the hardest level is by yourself... I'm currently redoing it again with my roommate on the hardest level and it's pretty easy. Now Ninja Gaiden is tough... for real
