Alright since no one wants to be a leader, and since 6strngs did it last time, im going to step up to the plate and make this norcal event happen damnit! Ok so we all agree to go get something to eat then go to the drag strip, im assuming, correct? If so I've got some ideas of parks in close range. In the pictures i did label where the parking was but for some reason they arent showing up, sooo sorry about that, but you guys should get the general idea.

1st:
Dan Foley Park
Location: East end of North Camino Alto (yes thats what the directions said) Vallejo CA
Drive to Infinion Raceway from Park: ~ 20 Mins
Comments: Lots of parking, BBQ Pits, 3$ parking fee for residents / 4$ for non-residents




2nd:
Blue Rock Springs Park
Location: 650 Columbus Parkway Vallejo CA
Drive to Infinion Raceway from park: 23 Mins
Comments: Lots of parking, BBQ Pits, 3$ parking fee for residents / 4$ for non-residents



3rd:
River Park
Location: Wilson Avenue (Look at map) Vallejo CA
Drive to Infinion Raceway from park: 16 Mins
Comments: I like this parks location the best BUT i have no idea if it has BBQ pits, lots of parking, no parking fee I believe.



As of now I'm not sure of when the Drag strip is open and when we can actually use it, and also the cost and requirements to get in. I'm hopeing someone wil lhelp me out here a little Anyways so when we get a park decided we can decide on who's bringing what food, exchange of cell numbers. So I'm open to some ideas here, or maybe we can scratch the whole park and maybe meet up and BBQ at someones house (if close enough) that is if someone wants to offer up their place of course Soo il ltry my best to coordinate this event alright guys?

Woot for Akira (sorry, I forgot your first name ) I really don't know which park would be good though. I *think* the drag racing starts at 5 pm. but not sure. also, I don't know, but racing helmets may be required.

Actually it would help if all norcal people (and aany other 6gc'er ) interested in going jsut pick which park looks the best (or any other idea u want), where you are driving from, and some info on days you can go or not go. so i can put together the best day for everybody. i'll get a list going:

Ok well we are still not sure where to meet up but lets get a date we can agree on and work our way from there. So I checked up the schedule for wed drag racing and they have one on july 18th and august 8th. Plenty of time to request the day off and of course they are both wednesdays. so lets see who can or cant go, on at least one of those days.
