muffler by itself ( no cat-back just the muffler ) = no real performance, but you'll get the sound

I used to have just a 40 series muffler when my car had the 7afe. Its sounded great.

I put an areospeed muffler on mine the first go around.. added a nice deep tone but not much volume..
after cat back and magnaflow, sounded nice but still not as loud as I wanted..
now with header.. perfect
