how often do you guys change your transmission oil?? i have a 97 automatic...i dont remember if its every 15,000 or 30,000?? i did mine at 120,000...

There really isn't a recommended for regular driving.
If you do a lot of stop/go (taxi), or towing, then it's more of a requirement.
The shifting will be a ton smoother too, so there's really no limit to how often.
I would say 70-80k miles?

would changing my transmission oil every 30,000 miles hurt??
No, that's actually the recommended service interval. So it's a good thing.
I remember in users guide is something like every 100000kms (about 60000mls)
