I just installed my Fidanza aluminum flywheel for my 5SFE, and I notice that my idle RPM is slightly higher than 800 (where it was before). Has anyone experiened this? If so, what did you do? Thanks

Anyone?
I have a fidanza flywheel on mine and it didn't affect it at all. Besides, if the idle is slightly higher than 800 it isn't going to hurt anything really
what does the flywheel do exactly?? lol
I have a fidanza flywheel too and my idle is normal, well, it's normal in that it idles around 750 most of the time. when first starting the car on a cold day it can idle at like 1100 for a couple minutes but that has nothing to do with the flywheel. I think you just need to get your car to normal operating temperature (and I think that when the radiator fans are on the idle is a little higher too)
as for the benefits of one: the stock flywheel weighs a ton, so putting on a lightweight one takes stress off the crank and allows your car to accellerate faster.
