My subs were working perfectly fine yesterday morning, than yesterday night they stopped. The amp wasnt on so the only thing i know for a fact is that the amp obviously isnt getting power.

I checked and replaced all my fuses (even though they didnt need to be replaced cuz they werent bad)

I checked all connections and there all still connected tightly and properly.

So does anyone know wut the hell is wrong with them?

the amp is a Pioneer 760 watt. I did touched (briefly) the ground/power wires but that was a week ago and the car was off and they have worked fine since than and none of the fuses blew.

try taking the subs out of the box and make sure that the wires are still connecting to the terminal in the inside of the box and that the wires are connected to the subs.

The amp light isnt coming on though, so i dont believe it is the subs that stopped working but the amp isnt turning on.

are there any lights at all turning on??

check the relay wire on the CD player side...but...even if that wasn't hooked up...it would power on...check your ground on the frame..make sure it's tight and solid. >>. iono...i hate amps for this very reason. >>

I used a paper clip from the power screw to the Remote screw, the subs didnt come on but the amp lit up

im about to go outside and take out the cd player and check that out (damn labor)

fist off I would check the fuses-you should have a fuse in the power/hot wire withinn six inchecs of your battery-if not you should put one there;second I would check to see if the remote/power antenna wire going to your amp is caring a charge a test light or multi-meter will work for that and of course check the fuses in the amp-hope this helps

the fuses were fine and im almost certain its a turn on wire problem i just gotta see if its connected wrong or the wire itself has gone bad

There are a few radios that have a fuse in the remote wire. Double check that. Also I believe your box slid pulling the wires out of the amp the other day. Right? Its possible you broke the remote wire without breaking the insulation. Also the remote wire may be cut somewhere and grounding out.

mine doesnt have a fuse in the turn on wire

and i dont think it broked when i hit the brakes the other day cuz it has been working since

i used a continuity tester and everything was fine

except the minus (or plus) i dont remember didnt light up when i touched the turn on wire and the power but the plus (or minus) lit up

ok well if the subs stopped working and there seems to be nothing wrong with the amp then maby that night it stopped working was due that the subs/amp got hot and it automatically shut off. my system did this once when i was out cruising in the sun and then i turned up the volume pretty loud which is normal forme, then booom no more sub power then after a few days i tried it again and it started working as if nothing ever happened. my dads friend told me that there was probably an automatic shutoff on the amp just in cause it gets too hot or something like that. Anyway good luck and hope that you fix the problem soon.
