I have a mixed view of neon under body lights....people either like them or hate them. I am trying to decide on some. what do you guys think about them?

well dude, do YOU like them or hate them? anything will look good if it is done correctly. and someone will always say it looks like crap. Just if you get them, make sure the tubes are hidden, i have seen way too many guys have those and you can see the tubes and it just looks so bad. I am prolly gonna get some so you know how i feel about them. they are a bit over played, but everything is a bit overplayed. if you are into it, do it. it's YOUR car.

I like them, I think they're really cool. I've only seen a few cars around my little town with them...like two. A lot of people's views changed because of 2F2F, but it's a good way to pimp your ride. Don't let a movie ruin what you think, 2F2F sucked, but the cars were great.

Ever since I saw one of these I have been in love(Long before F+F). I personally have had one, but was not happy with it. Once again the most true saying for cars "you get what you pay for" I highly suggest getting the Gold Series from Street Glow, I had the blue series and saw a friends Gold, much brighter. Know of a good place to get a good price? Looking for a red colored gold series.

yes..get the gold series...i had alot of trouble because I bought the bottom of the barrel Liteglow product...o well...i think they can look sharp..but yeah make sure they really cant see the bulb...

Saw an ad for a set of neons, thought they had interesting features, They fade with the revving of the engine, or pulse with the music you are playing or stay on normally. Thats would be nice. Forget the brand though.
Beware when having neons that fade and pulse and whatnot, my guess is those are illegal. In someplaces they're illegal altogether. In Ohio, anything is legal, except your bulbs can not be showing. I know that some states don't let you use certain colors also.

I got mine awhile ago after I went through all the doubt you're going through now. In the end I put them on and they look awsome at night and when I hit the brakes my whole car just glows red. Its mostly because of the neons but my roof spoiler has the brake light and its bright as all outside, lights up the back seat even. Makes for one cool effect. Just do it and you'll see that it'll make your car look good too.

I love the look of neons on a car but i also enjoy variety and thats what i enjoy the most.
There is a new led underbody kit that has 7 diffrent colors and you can switch to each and every color you want i hear they are about $300 but look around you'll probably get em cheaper.

Do not get these. It looks like you mounted rope light to the bottom of your car because it is spotted. Someone said check out my body kit, and jokingly said wow thats cool, and hes like i paid 275 for it, im like yea that rope light has increased in price since fast and the furious, hes like umm, its street glow... yah
