if it has to be be a 7th gen, it's best to go with the manual GTS. it's alot more fun to drive with. and sabrina... i think the closest to a 7th gen GT4 celica would probably be the FENSPORT 7th gen. awd + 3sgte

but like stevenson said.. at least not from factory

I've owned both a 95 ST and 00 GTS... And from personal experience, i loved my 00 GTS 6spd better then my 6th gen. I love the interior of the 6th, but powerwise a 2zz is a really good motor. It all depends on who you ask though. Most people will just say "just drop a 3sgte" which is true. But if your looking for a car just to buy and is quick already and GREAT on gas. I definately would recommend a 2000-2001 GTS 6 speed only.

You will get tired of that auto GT SOOO fast.

eww auto 7th gen GT

Stick with the 6th gen, I bought a 5 speed 7th gen GT and hated it.

What's wrong with the 2002+ GTS? Bad quality?

2002 models had an ECU change where the fuel cut was moved from 8200 rpms to 7800 if I remember correctly. 2003 to 2006 or whenever they stopped... changed it back to how it was in 2000-2001.

That's not the car... that's just a stupid driver...

Performance-wise... 7th gen all the way. Good performance without any crazy swaps. Comfort-wise... I like the 6gc more. Looks... I like the 6gc more also... but the 7th gen isn't bad... least not the front. BUT... NEVER get the auto version.
